01 / SHELTER
Light, filtered.

Softens daylight and gives shade a tactile fabric surface.

Passes warm low sunlight through a lighter layer.

Provides reusable frames in a quiet matte finish.
03 / SELF-INITIATED CONCEPT STUDY
An outdoor activation developed around soft materials, natural tones, flexible furniture and changing light from afternoon into evening.
THE DESIGN CHALLENGE
Keep an outdoor branded environment welcoming as direct sunlight gives way to evening. Shade, seating and legible routes have to work together.
Fabric catches the light; timber and woven surfaces warm the setting; low furniture supports conversation without closing the central route.
Material → Natural light → Furnishing → Experience
SIGNATURE STUDY
Material choices were selected not only for daytime texture, but for how they respond as natural light fades and practical lighting takes over.
Daylight reveals the material weave; canopy shade and low seating support open daytime use.
Low sunlight warms timber and filters through fabric, supporting social and photographic moments.
Lanterns and warm light pools take over, keeping seating, the gateway and service points legible.
Times indicate intended atmosphere rather than a site-specific solar study. AI-assisted relighting; small image details may vary.
MATERIALS + FURNISHING / ONE DESIGN SYSTEM
Fabric, timber, woven surfaces and practical objects work together to support shelter, comfort, atmosphere and orientation.

02 / COMFORT

Adds warmth to gateways, counters and seating.

Defines seating groups with a softer ground surface.
Low modular seating, side tables, parasols and outdoor rugs keep sightlines open while supporting informal groups.
03 / ATMOSPHERE

Adds texture to lanterns and lightweight details.

Creates local pools of light when daylight fades.
Planters, woven lanterns, cushions and rope details connect the space to a warmer natural material language.
04 / BRAND & WAYFINDING

Keeps wayfinding readable with reduced surface glare.
A service point, matte signage and printed fabric provide information without dominating the social setting.
Illustrative material and furnishing references / AI-assisted concept visualization. Outdoor suitability and final products would be resolved with suppliers.
The palette follows late-afternoon landscape tones, with warm neutrals and twilight blue chosen to stay coherent as sunlight gives way to evening lighting.
Workflow: visitor needs → material and palette selection → daylight comparison → furnishing roles → presentation.
